Root Barriers for Mature Trees
Our root barrier for mature trees is able to withstand even the most demanding root intrusion issues. Constructed of HDPE the material provides a minimum thickness of 80 mil. Additionally the material is available in roll widths ranging from 18ā to 48ā. The material is placed vertically in the ground with one inch visible above the surface. The reason for this is so that surface roots can be quickly identified and clipped back.
The root barrier is shipped in long rolls which allows for a continuous barrier with minimal joints which, especially when dealing with mature trees is ideal as the joints are always the weakest point of any root barrier.
The root barrier is manufactured in the USA from recycled materials.
