The drain grate stops leaves and debris in stormwater from infiltrating and clogging the pipeline. Works with the Mini Channel Drain for light flows from concrete & paver patios, driveways, tennis courts, and walkways. The Mini Channel Drain Grate in cast iron is built to stand up to the elements and will rust over time, forming a protective iron-oxide patina thatās red-orange and ages to a deep, rich brown. NDS iron grates are lightly painted black for shipping and storage purposes only to inhibit rust formation. Mini Channels are part of the NDS Profile Seriesā¢ Channel.
